Individual Class: you can choose any type of class from our Learning or Movement classes
Starter Subscription: you can choose either 2 Learning classes or 2 Movement classes, or a combination between the two; the second class can be scheduled after attending the first one, by sending an email at hello@urbanforest.ro
Learner Subscription: you can mix and match Learning classes and Movement classes, however you prefer, choosing from our class types, by sending an email at hello@urbanforest.ro
Explorer Subscription: you can mix and match Learning classes and Movement classes, however you prefer, choosing from our class types, by sending an email at hello@urbanforest.ro
New: Learning and Movement Class now available for 2-3 year old kids!
We listened to your needs and started a dedicated class for toddlers to encourage the intellectual, social emotional and physical development needed for future learning.
Objectives:
- Develop fine and gross motor skills to prepare for kindergarten independence
- Develop speech and phonetic sounds through storytelling, a series of fun and engaging activities
- Learn colors, shapes, numbers, artsy ABCs through interactive and hands on activities
Class description
Outdoor Learning
The children will enjoy listening to classic stories, as well as coming up with their own.
The learning goals are:
- Facilitate children’s language acquisition and vocabulary fluency;
- Develop listening and understanding skills.
- Practice sequencing and storytelling.
In this highly competitive world, one way to help your children be more aware of their surroundings and create opportunities for themselves is by increasing their general knowledge. The world needs critical thinkers, doers, and problem solvers.
The goal of this class is to:
- stimulate imagination
- develop open-mindedness and critical thinking.
- develop problem-solving skills
- Build confidence
With a learning-through-play approach, kids will find a fun collection of nature art, craft, and imaginative play where activities will adapt to the changing seasons. The class goals are:
- artistic skills
- discovery
- creativity using senses
- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
A well-designed team project provides children with the opportunity to develop skills related to:
- Group work. Project debate and negotiation skills.
- Communication/ English vocabulary related to the topic.
- Self-awareness and evaluation of group processes.
- Critical thinking and analysis.
- Explaining concepts/ Presentation to an audience
Empowering through empathy, identifying and exploring emotions for self-development and group interactions, develop mind-body awareness and body positivity. The goals of this class:
- Rmmber, there are no good or bad emotions, there are just emotions!
- Body consent and positivity
- The ABCs in emotional intelligence
Music gives children a way to express themselves and to be inspired. In this high-energy class, kids will have a blast exploring nature rhythms, animal rhythm stories, and lots of stomping-and spinning fun. The goals of this class:
- Focus and listening skills
- Increase confidence and feel engaged
Move Around
Movement is a great way for children to learn how to: reduce stress, Improve concentration, balance, and flexibility. Games, fundamental movement skills like jumping skipping, hopping, throwing and catching will be incorporated into this fun, non-competitive class.
The purpose of this class is to pump up endorphins and lessening stress, helping them to be more active, more mindful, more aware of themselves. The kids will have a blast at this fun workout.
Rules:
The scheduling will be done with minim 2 days prior to the session day at the email address hello@urbanforest.ro
You can mix and match the sessions between Learning and/or Movement
The Subscriptions are valid for one person only and you cannot use the subscription for another child/person
The subscription payment is done at once upon the online purchase of the named subscription
Rescheduling of the missed session will be done depending on the availability of the session spots at the time of the rescheduling
